The company was created by Dr. Holger Engel, who has 20+ years experience in the Diagnostics & Life Science Industry and extensive expertise in the development & commercialization of Research Tools & in-vitro Diagnostics.
One of his key skills is conceptual planning of strategy for starting new application and business fields, making things work and driving things for successful execution.
This builds on many years of experiences in senior management roles (QIAGEN, later Barcelona based Point-of-Care Start-up STAT-Dx, exit to QIAGEN in 2018, now called QIAstat-Dx) and includes the commercialization of hundred of products. Products and Market expertise ranges from research tools for the Academic market to products for the Applied Fields (Molecular Forensics, Food Safety, Veterinary Dx) and most recently a fully integrated cartridge based point-of-care system for human molecular diagnostics (STAT-Dx, exit to QIAGEN).
