Strategy: Business Area Invest-Divest
The goal of this project was to analyse the market footprint, product offering and competitive position of a Life Science market segment. This strategic review was used to trigger a invest-divest discussion and adjustments of the strategy.
My main tasks in this project where:
- Strategic review of the $$M business segment
- Understanding the situation: Face-to-face interviews with internal (Marketing, R&D, Sales) and external stakeholders (Distributors, Selected customers) on market situation, competition, product offering, opportunities & challenges, pricing – SWOT analysis
- Revenue analysis – products & geographies
- Result presentation with challenges & opportunities to Senior Management of the customer
